Eevee The Rabbit

I’ll upload a pic when the camera is back working, but we have a pet rabbit named Eevee. I love the things rabbits do, as I was writing this blog Eevee just made off with a white ball of wall that my Mum had next to her and after running around with it, left it down the over side of the room. See that’s the thing with rabbits, they show some characteristics that remind me of cats (like playing with wool, they have the whiskers, and if you give them water in a bowl they lick it up a lot like cats), but they have characteristics that remind me of a dog (they growl a little like dogs, pant like dogs, and sometimes they run around people in circles like dogs do). Rabbits are sort of like a hybrid of dogs and cats, though they also have their own unique characteristics too.

I should explain something about our rabbit, that might otherwise be confusing, when I tell you that our rabbit is name Eevee Taylor Marie and is in fact a male. The story goes that when we first brought Eevee back from a small pet shop in Romford, Essex, the man serving told us the rabbit was a male, but then another staff member said that she was sure the rabbit was in fact a female, she seemed very sure on this one, so we took our new pet home believing it to, in fact be a female rabbit. So it was decided that we would name our rabbit Eevee: named after the Pokemon Eevee, as we noticed they shared the same pattern of fur.

Eevee’s second name was Taylor, seemed to fit in well with the name, and shares the same name with the talented and brilliant singer Taylor Swift, then finally Marie; a very nice pretty sounding name that goes great with the first two names, plus my Mum thought that the name could be a reference also to a singer:the also brilliant and talented Marie Osmond. So there we had it, a lovely femmine set of names for our new rabbit, and then we realised she was in fact a he. Ah. Yes as the days had gone by, we did begin to wonder if Eevee was in fact a male: she, I mean he, was showing a lot of male rabbit tendencies, and when ever we got the chance we did try to discover if Eevee was a male or not (if you don’t know how that is done please see:

Well, we have kept the names in the end, as theirs a nice story behind them, and actually first name Eevee works, I think as a males names as well as female anyway. The break- up

If you were wondering, Eevee is not ready to evolve, partly because we do not have access to either evolution stone needed to evolve Eevee (pet shop didn’t seem to sell them, for some reason).

  1. certainly like your website however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.

    • Thanks for the comments. Before each post is published, I do proof read it, and run it through a spelling checker, however I think a couple of times, and older version of the post was published (spelling mistake ones) and that could be what you noticed. Sorry to hear you had trouble reading the posts because of the spelling issues, they should be resolved now.

  2. It’s really a nice and helpful piece of information. I am happy that you just shared this helpful info with us. Please stay us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.
